The Lowville Winter Games are back again this year and offer plenty of fun for the whole family! From crafts with Momstown to learning how to log-saw, and from food trucks to horse-drawn carriage rides, all family members are bound to be entertained. The City of Burlington is even offering a free shuttle ride from the Halton District School Board parking lot Lowville Park, making it easier to enjoy all the activities. What’s more Canadian than drinking hot chocolate and skating outdoors? Take in the beauty of Bronte Creek Provincial Park while catching up with family and friends. While you’re there, don’t forget to check out the toboggan hill and the approximately 5 km of cross-country ski trails.
Annual Maple Syrup Festival

If none of the above activities are enough to bring you into the cold, then you must surely tru the Annual Maple Syrup Festival at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Tour guides dress in turn-of-the-century attire, pony rides take you through the park and, of course, fresh maple sugar. Visitors can also fill up with a pancake meal and visit the gift shoppe to get their fill of everything maple!
