As Canadians, we know how important it is to have warm clothing and enough food, especially as the colder months approach. But for individuals and families facing financial challenges, covering these everyday essentials can be difficult. That’s why Woolcott Real Estate will be hosting our 12th Annual Coat Drive on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, in support of Good Shepherd Hamilton. This year, we’re also expanding the initiative to include a food drive in support of the Flamborough Food Bank.

For twelve years, our community has helped make this annual tradition a success, and we continue to be grateful for the generosity of our neighbours. With the need for support growing in our community, we’re hoping to collect even more donations this year to help local individuals and families.

If you live in East Waterdown, our team will deliver paper donation bags to your home during the week leading up to the drive. Simply fill them with coat or food donations and leave them at the end of your driveway. Our team will begin collecting donations after 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 14th.

If you live outside of East Waterdown, you can still take part by bringing your donations directly to our office at 493 Dundas Street East in Waterdown between 10 a.m. and noon on the day of the drive.

Every donation makes a difference, whether it’s a gently used coat to help someone stay warm or food to support a family in need. Thank you to everyone who has supported this tradition over the years. We look forward to another successful year of giving back to our community!
